Sequential Art

I used to feel a little self-conscious about having so much "fan art" here, rather than completely original works. Then I realized that the biggest budget, most acclaimed creative endeavor of the decade, the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, is nothing other than fan art either... (And what will they do next? Remake "King kong". Again.)

Web comics

I've toyed with comic ideas and character designs for about as long as I can remember. With the advent of the affordable computer and the web, it suddenly became feasible to self-publish, and much easier to finish artwork.

(not quite) Daily Comic
This is my ongoing gags comic, it started out as a PHP script test and graphics tablet practice, but seems to have developed a life of its own. It is updated haphazardly, whenever I get an idea.
Souvenir Noir
This story uses the characters and universe of the 2001 TV series "Noir", (owned by Ryoe Tsukimura - Bee Train - Victor Entertainment). This was my first attempt at a web comic of some length. Due to past experiences, I was concerned about being able to bring it to conclusion, so I ended up drawing all the art for it over the course of a single weekend. As a result, the quality of the art is substandard. Interestingly though, this made me realize the importance of the other aspects of telling a story - and the function of graphics as means of communication rather than "art" - much more than when I tried to make everything picture-perfect.

Flash movies

Flash is such an adorable invention. It places the possibility to make animated movies within reach of everyone. (Unfortunately it gets abused now to make "flash web sites")

Mad Tea party
A parody "missing scene" for episode 11 of the TV series "Noir". My first Flash movie was an experiment in "limited animation" of the kind that brought animation within TV budgets, as pioneered by William Hannah and Joseph Barbera in the sixties.
NOIR: the trials
A basic "shoot-em-up" game, also based on the TV series "Noir"

AMV

Or "anime music videos," are basically an excuse to spend ridiculous amounts of time having fun with video editing software. My AMVs have been published on animemusicvideos.org.

Is love worth fighting for?
My first AMV experiment, a parody on the Troy movie trailer.
Chloe forever
"Who wants to live forever?" by Queen. A little amateurish but sincere.
Hope fades
"Into the West" by Annie Lennox.
